Member Guide

Welcome to GoSGV. Here is everything you need to know to get rolling.

After You Are Approved

Follow these steps to get your e-bike and start riding.

Sign Your Agreement

After approval, you will receive your GoSGV Agreement by email. Review and sign it before your scheduled pickup or delivery.

Pay Your Deposit

Pay your refundable deposit ($125 for commuter, $500/$250 for cargo). Your deposit is returned when you return the bike in good condition.

Pick Up or Get Delivery

Schedule a pickup at our location or request delivery to your door for $50. El Monte residents receive free delivery.

Ride!

Your e-bike comes with a lock, charger, and helmet. Charge at home, ride anywhere, and enjoy.

Taking Care of Your E-Bike

Charging

Charge your battery at home using the included charger. A full charge takes 4-6 hours. Keep the battery above 20% when possible to extend its life.

Locking Up

Always lock your bike to a fixed object using the provided lock. Remove the battery when leaving the bike unattended for extended periods.

Maintenance

GoSGV covers routine maintenance. If you experience a flat tire, brake issue, or any mechanical problem, contact us and we will arrange a repair or swap.

Metrolink Day Pass

All GoSGV members receive a complimentary Metrolink SoCal Day Pass. Combine your e-bike ride with transit for longer trips across the region.

Equity Members: OpenPATH App

If you are an equity member, you will be asked to install the NREL OpenPATH app to track your trips. This data helps secure continued funding for the program.

Returning Your Bike

When your membership ends, contact GoSGV to schedule a pickup or drop-off. Return the bike, charger, lock, and battery in good condition to receive your full deposit refund.

GoSGV partners with local bike shops across the San Gabriel Valley to provide maintenance and repairs for your e-bike. Always contact the shop closest to you first. Out-of-network shops may not have the proper tools for your bike.
